I was very excited about receiving this little umbrella after reading copious reviews from competitors and fellow purchasers of this particular one. It arrived without problem and upon opening I found it has that sticky tough to open gear lock some umbrellas just seem to have. Fine, no matter, I'll figure out how to use it because those types of locks just take skill to jiggle and wiggle open. But upon collapsing it I found it is impossible to get back in it's sleeve which is the whole point to sequester it for travel in a backpack. I had ordered 2 and the other one has the same issue. We are just going to use the for home use where presentation and compactibility don't really matter but I'm disappointed my searchust continue for the perfect compact travel umbrella. That said the quality in the rest of its construction and the clarity of print are beyond expectation for the price so we settled to keep them just not for their purchased use.

This is a nice little umbrella that fits in a backpack but don't be in a hurry to open it. It seems very stiff to open but it does the job.

bought to bring to disney for the rain. folds up SUPER small and opens up really big. ended up having no rain but used to keep sun off my kids here and there. NICE umbrella

Good sized travel umbrella. Folds down small big once extended, its coverage is pretty good.Not wind proofed though. It kept flipping over when I used it in a heavy rain.

As other reviews have said, this umbrella is not great. It WILL flip inside out with any kind of wind. Not even just strong wind, but anything more than a breeze. It also does. It return to a very compact state once you’ve opened it once. I will probably keep it just have as a back up umbrella. Do not buy this if you want a quality umbrella for actual weather.

I hate this umbrella with my whole heart. It's simply terrible.It's difficult to open and close, and is always flipping inside out in the slightest breeze.But, my biggest issue is that the handle is like a foot and a half long. It's WAY too short, and even with my short arms, my head is jammed up into the frame. Which, and this is super fun, rips your hair out. There's more hair in the workings of this thing than in my comb, and that's saying something.So if you are someone with hair, and you purchase this, please be aware you will soon have none.0/10 do not recommend.

Pros:Great size for individual coverageOnly slightly protective for intense sun coverage due to single layer fabricPerfect size for theme park bag. We used it at Disney this week for sun protection and rain. I had it out all day. (FL heat is no joke)Con:Walmart had a better quality one for about $7 less.Fabric got caught in the frame and it now has a little hole in it.Was hard to lock open. The “click” to secure it open wasn’t quick. I had to try several times and twist it some to get it to work.I got two of these for our trip. The one with the clouds inside seemed better for cover since it had two layers of fabric.I’ll be attempting to replace the one that didn’t work great.
