Smells good, holds well, although takes a while to dry but it really irritates my eyes. So, will not buy again.

Ok hold, very strong feminine scent.

I love the strong hold...keeps everything in place even in mild to moderate wind. However, with strong hold you often are left with hair that is stiff or crusty to the touch. While this formula isn't as bad as some gels that turn your hair into a brillo pad... it's not soft or 'run your fingers through my hair' capable either. I imagine it's hard to have the best of best worlds here... so I shouldn't be too surprised. However, some versions of pomade I've tried are a little better at having a firm hold and yet still maintaining a natural look and feel. Overall, it's pretty good as far as gels go... but there are a few better versions on the market.

I got this for my son's hair, but I feel like the gel is way too thick and I couldn't really spread it around on his hair that well. Unless I am doing something wrong =(

This pomade has a gel-like texture and a pleasant, clean scent. It isn’t as hard and waxy as other pomades I’ve used, it’s more like a very thick, stiff gel. The smell is a bit strong, not overly masculine or feminine, but noticeable and lasting. Definitely have to wash your hands after using, the smell sticks around pretty strongly. The pomade is clear and goes on a little wet and sticky but dries to a matte finish quickly. I only use a small amount to style my hair and it holds it in place without being too stiff or hard. It makes my hair look neat and stay in place but natural, not hard or cemented into place like traditional gel.

I got this pomade for my son to try out since he actually styles his hair. He was happy with the scent as it blended well with other products he uses. His hair also maintained its style throughout his 12-hour shift. He has been using it for several days now and hasn't mentioned any dislikes or issues using it.

There seem to be several of these pomades for sale where they are listed as pomades but the box says “Hydrogenated Castor Oil.” I’m not real sure what that is about, but it is a pretty good pomade — clear with a mildly pleasant fragrance. So far my husband and sons say it works well to hold their hair in place with just a little bit applied.

I actually did not expect this Pomade to be so well made but it really is. It did take a while to come but the way it holds down my hair is definitely worth it. Goes down clear and it definitely smells really good this is definitely a rival to Suavecito
