My 11-year-old can’t put these down. He takes them everywhere. So much you can create with these! It’s my new go-to “have on hand for impromptu birthday gifts” gift! I want some for me now.

The color plating is top-rate. I have many types of 5mm magnets, and some are poorly plated and get dull (even chrome). These balls are fantastically plated and do not lose their luster. But this cube is multi-colored, and I like patterns, so I bought FOUR of these, along with several silver, bright gold (the balls in this set are more copper-colored) and black cubes, and I am delighted. It cost a frickn' mint, but it is fantastic.

Mine was a waste. The magnets are all screwed up. Thing doesn't even make a cube in any way shape or form due to the polarity in the magnets are off so it came to my door as a puddle of magnetic balls and that's all it will ever be. I can make a rope of balls but spheres, cubes, triangles, and 3D designs are all impossible. What a waste of money.

I ordered one set of these, they arrived before the promised window, and the colors (magenta red orange yellow green cyan blue purple) are bright and fantastic. The consistency between magnets is pretty bad, but for smaller (216-piece) constructions that's not a big problem. I ordered a second set, which took until the end of the window to arrive, and I'm very disappointed in the color. The bright orange from the first set was replaced with a dull reddish purple. The other colors are mostly similar, and these are somewhat more regular in size. The polymer coatings are a little pitted and irregular, not terribly, but noticeably. They seem durable enough. For the price, about five cents per magnet, these are great. If quality is important to you, don't bother with these, spring for zen magnets or neoballs. And don't expect a reorder to be the same product.

I really like them and would enjoy them immensely but one of the beads was defected in a way that it was very difficult to connect it the other beads. This doesn't seem like a problem for most seeing as no one else seems to have this problem. Any way it did take a long time to ship and it is a lot of fun. I will look forward to when I get a new one (hopefully with out the defect).

Awesome fidgeting toy.. took a long time to arrive but good quality and reasonably priced. Quite a project to neatly re-assemble the original cube (as pictured) after taking it apart 8-)

My 10 yr old son (who has always been drawn to any type of puzzle and “find it” books) first discovered buckeyballs at my sister’s house and was occupied for a surprising amount of time. So naturally, he asked me to order them for him. I’m not sure what it is about these little magnetic balls, but once you pick them up, it’s hard to put them down?! They’re a huge hit and anyone who sees them can’t help but start playing with them... then it’s really tough to put them down... or hand them back over!

Magnets are super strong and fun to play with! Great fidget toy for my office.
