If you're a parent with a young child (mine is 5) just learning other draw, and want to help them by showing them how to draw cute simple things, get this.The concepts are pretty basic, you start with eyes and then go from there. But the variety of things that are in here will help you help them in the easiest way possible.I expect older kids would be able to take to this book quickly and be asking for more. For me, I'm just glad I can draw a butterfly that my kids can recognize :)

I sent the book home with my niece. I should have kept the book at my house so I could work with her on the book. I'm going to buy it again.

A very fun resource to spark an interest in the arts. Designs are super easy to learn and copy. And now my daughter has taken off in her creativity and adds even more detailed content to the simple drawings this book has.

Really great drawing guide for younger kids!

I immediately liked the cover of the book since it features plenty of fully or partially drawn subjects as to entice the child. Heck! I'm a grandma and started drawing right away. Now, I have it all wrapped up to share with its intended recipient when I see her tomorrow; my 4 1/2 year old granddaughter. I am sure this will encourage much table talk as she and her friends or she and her dad begin to draw lively animals, bugs, and marine life. Definitely worth the purchase. Oh, I also purchased a Bostich compact desktop electric/rechargeable pencil sharpener from Amazon as I am sure the budding artist will be going through many a pencil point.
