Handy Can Opener (Chrome) As Seen On TV Automatic One Push Battery-Operated Can Opener

I had a different can opener for several years and always liked it until the cutters got dull so that it didn't readily open cans. Couldn't find that same one again, so my husband bought me a different one from Sharper Image. Really did not not like that one (for which he paid quite a bit more money)! So I decided to check my old shopping standby, Amazon. I found this one and decided to give it a try. Am so glad I did. Works perfectly and shuts off automatically when the can top has been entirely cut off. My old one turned off automatically, but the Sharper Image one did not.Glad I decided on this one in all the ones I found on Amazon. Not too much $$, and well worth the money. Opens cans quickly and easily, then shuts off automatically. Couldn't ask for more! :)

This can opener is great! It takes the entire top off so there are no sharp edges. One warning....the on button does not turn on unless you actually have a can on the device. After I put in the batteries and tried to turn it on, it didn't do anything. I was concerned it didn't work, but once attached to the can it did the job. I highly recommend it!

I have probably been buying these since they first came out. I'm on my third. They last for years. I think I wore the first one out and the second one I broke, so now I just bought this one. I like them so much better than the electric ones. Smaller, easier to store, easier to use.

Great automatic can opener! I have arthritis in my hands and it is difficult for me to use a regular opener. This is a great aid. Just set on the can, push the button and it goes to work quickly!

This is the best product of this type I've had. Great that you can get it to disengage if it gets stuck. Others don't. I had to dump an early model I really liked because of that. Not hard to load w/ batteries as another one was. I also like that it runs flat on top of the can instead of angled up. Much better design. (And kinda cute it "waggles" like a dancing bee as it turns...)

For anyone who struggles with a hand can opener, this is the answer to all your problems. This is so easy you press a button and your can is opened with no sharp edges.I suffer from really bad carpal tunnel syndrome along with osteoarthritis in my wrist and thumbs. This things a lifesaver.

uh, used it to open cans ? I love these can openers, we have worn out 3 of them, and now I have 4 new ones, so when 1 breaks down, I'll still have another -

I have only used this opener 10 or 11 times and it stoped working. It won't do anything. Just sits on top of can. Pushing the button does not work. But it does make a great paper weight !!
