What the OEM part should be.
My OEM plug had disintegrated and I was always afraid that the Allen head would strip out. This plug is brass, so it will hold up to the diesel fuel, and has a nice big hex head. If Ford hadn't cut so many corners on these F-250s this would have been the OEM plug. Much better now.

Bought for my 2004 6.0 F250 and it is great. Awesome replacement and cheaper/better than the dealer or parts stores could provide. The ability to put a wrench on it is the bees knees.

Fit my 2005 F350 6.0L. Simple install and makes draining water from my fuel easier. No more Allen wrenches.

Easier than using Allen Wrench
If you ever get water in your diesel fuel you will have to remove this plug several times before the problem is solved. This alternative sure Beats using allen wrench on OEM plug by far.
