Practical advice
This is a good looking Cruising Companion which includes 'tourist' style photos among the usual views across harbours and points of specific yachting interest. The port diagrams are very much in the style of Sunsail chartlets showing the recommended way to anchor/tie-up and the accompanying text is engaging and pertinent - even down to details, and sometimes photos, of helpful individuals to be found at some of the smaller harbours and anchorages. The book was a pleasure to browse through and gave all the information we needed to plan ahead with confidence.Another reviewer comments that the area covered is not that of the complete "West Aegean" so check that it includes all of the area you require. We cruised the Sporades and couldn't fault this book.

area covered
I'm sure this is probably a great book but unlike other books on the West Aegean, it doesnt include the Saronic Gulf or the Argolic Gulf - both of which most yachtsmen will expect to be included in a guide to the "West Aegean".If you are heading south or south east from Athens (as we were) the book won't be any use to you.
