Small Flowering Willow Herb is native to Europe, Turkey, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Himalayas and northwest Africa. It is a perennial herbwith rose pink coloured flowers.It may also be known by many other names including - Smallflower Hairy Willowherb, Codlins and Cream, Hoary Willowherb, Épilobe à Petites Fleurs, Garofanino Minore, Epilobi Herba & Kleinblütiges Weidenröschen.The herb was once used in Canada to treat diseases of the urinary tract by native tribes, but in Europe, very little attention was given to it until the 1980's when the Austrian herbalist Maria Treben, the women who reintroduced the old Swedish bitters formula to the world, wrote about it in her book 'Health Through God's Pharmacy'.
