Triggertrap MD3-E3 Mobile Dongle Connecting Cable Kit for Canon Camera

This is a great product for any amateur photographer! Works excellently with the app. And does exactly what it says it does. Plenty of handy hints and tips from triggertrap too!

I think the product is overpriced for what it is (it's pretty much just a cable) and it should contain a bluetooth connection so it can be operated remotely from a smartphone.

Great product, works a treat, the screen on my phone is twice that of the cameras which helps greatly. easy to use and worth the money.

I had really high hopes for this device, I did my research and had lots of projects planned to use it with. It arrived today and I've already processed my refund with amazon (very easy). The hardware itself is fine, it looks good and is light. I plugged it in and followed the instructions (MF, BULB, volume up etc) I tried a HDR picture first, set it to take 3 pictures - it took 2. Tried again, it took 2. changed it to 5 - it took 5. put it back to 3 and it took 3 - THEN it flipped out and took 20 pictures! Gave up with HDR as this happened a few times. I tried sound control and peekaboo. both failed to do anything. Turned off the camera, unplugged and repeated the tests. Same problems as above although I did get it to take a picture on sound. The app looks like it wants to take a picture but it doesn't. I have come to the assumption that it just doesn't work, I have lost faith in this device and would not trust it when I'm up trying to take star trails in the middle of the night. I think the issue is with the app more than the hardware. For info I was using an iPhone 6 and a Canon 750D.I'm really gutted that this didn't work as expected, the idea is great and if they release a new model in the future I will try it, but right now it's not good enough. If you were like me and thinking about getting one of these but keep adding it and deleting it from your shopping cart - just delete it and don't bother. Save your money to go towards a new lens or something.

This was just what I wanted, because it was a birthday present for a relative, to work with his iPhone. He hasn't had a chance to use all its features yet, but it certainly works. Since he hasn't had the chance to use it fully yet, I've given this item a four-star rating of "I like it", since it was what I was looking to get and, once he does start using all its features, he may be very satisfied, so I thought I'd give this product the benefit of the doubt.

Do not get if you plan on using this in sound mode on an android device. Due to androids audio latency issues, there is a significant amount of time between the sound and the shutter firing.

Excellent piece of kit - I couldn't work out the setting for my camera to make this work - but their support was quick and excellent with good concise information
