First day it worked good after about a week the side strap started to rip on the left side a few days later the right side strap ripping . So if your in the trades like me and your looking for a good knee pad skip this pair they do not hold up made very poorly.

Definitely pair of knee pads that fit well and don't fall down / shift down your leg when used. For those of us who rely on saving your knees as you get past your " I'm invincible 20's" and " it doesn't hurt that bad 30's", quality pads are essential. These pads stay put, nice wide elastic strap that doesn't dig into your legs, and SUPER soft padding. I give 4 out of 5 simply because magnet is very weak.I opened up the area with magnet and replaced with earth magnets. Before they would hold a screw or two. Now it will hold a screwdriver in place. Even when I stand up and walk. If you not into the magnet hold area, 5 stars. If you are buying for magnet hold area, you'll need to do minor surgery to put stronger magnet inside.UPDATE 3 months later.....the stitching on the lower adjustable strap is tearing away at the elastic strap. It is where the loop is. This is after three to four projects only! I have to add a denim patch and re-stitch that loop. I still love the design. They just need to beef up the stress and weak areas to make it a perfect item.

So I tried it the very first time and they ripped as soon as I started working. Maybe I had put them on too tight and the elastic holding the velcro did not resist. so I managed to return them and replace them for a new pair. On this new pair, I am being extra careful making sure I don't put them on to tight, I used them for 3 days and slowly they are being ripped apart.. same thing, the elastic holding the velcro is not strong enough. this means that the pads with only last a week if you use them on a daily basis. maybe probably two weeks if you are extra careful. so you do not put them as tight as you should because they will reap apart right away. the problem is if you have them too loose they'll start falling down to your ankles which is not good. I am really disappointed on this knee pads.

As a contractor, I’m on my knees every day. My knee pads are the first tool I strap on each day. I’ve tried most all. Most quickly become useless shin pads. I found a pair that stayed up and felt comfortable for months, but the straps would tear loose and require repairing several times. I found these which looked similar, and they said they had an improved strap system. Not the same.These don’t fall down, but they often roll off your knee sideways. If you cinch them up real tight the won’t roll, but then they cut the circulation off behind your knee. The straps on these are starting to tear after 2 weeks. So these aren’t horrible, but I’ll go back to the other brand when I tire or rolling off these on to my bare knees.

These things are great! Nice, big pad and the straps don’t chafe the back of my knees like most do. The magnet part seemed kinda gimmicky but I figured I’d give it a try since I have a habit of kicking screws across the room when I’m working. Freakin’ brilliant, works way better than I expectedI haven’t had these long enough to properly judge longevity but they look like they’ll last a while. Good, heavy fabric and quality stitching.10/10, would buy again.

I absolutely love these knee pads. As an avid gardener, they allow me to rest my knees on my concrete garden enclosure with out any pain or discomfort while tending to my plants. They are also large enough to keep out debris while I am digging and planting directly on the soil. The magnets are a great touch and makes keeping track of my small garden tools a breeze. My back yard is mostly pavers so these will help with a number of projects.

Seems like the short lower strap is a design flaw that they remedied with the Velcro strip, but at least the price seems to suggest they discounted it.Semi uncomfortable and tend to slide down to ankles often, but happens to me with several other brands to be honest.Hard plastic cap isn't the best for delicate floors.Durability and value is good though.

my initial reaction is very positive. I tried them on and crawled around on hardwood floor for awhile. They left no marks and my knees were not screaming. I will not be using these for a full day's work for a couple of weeks. If they do not perform as I expect, I will be back here to update this review.

They are already falling apart..I work at the airport so I’m on my knees a lot and within the 3rd day the straps are almost gone
