Interesting and fun
Well, I had this game when I was a child, and it makes me to remember those times. The game is not bad at all, the difficult is the unique bad thing there, but is a good game...

Pretty Good
Though this game is rather hard and only five levels long it's still fun to play. Its kinda like Double Dragon in a Vietnam setting.

P.O.W. is a decent port from the arcade it just doesn't have much replay value
P.O.W. is best remembered as the old 80’s arcade game. P.O.W. for the NES wasn’t a bad game it was just repetitive in a lot of ways. The stages were pretty straightforward. The home console port does a modest job of transferring the best elements of the arcade game. Your soldier had 3 basic attacks punch, kick and jump kick. You were also able to pick up items such as a knife, grenade, and machine gun at times during the game. Pretty much a standard side scrolling beat em up video game set in a Vietnam War type of mold. The music was almost nonexistent in this game, more like just sound effects. The game only had 5 main stages but they were all pretty long in length. The computer AI would always try and surround you, and double team you especially the Green Beret enemies. A lot of the enemies were repetitive you really had to watch out for the machine gun attacks in stage 4. The boss of the game was some huge muscle bound Arnold clone. The game wasn’t bad but neither was it very fun either. It doesn’t have the appeal of a Double Dragon, or River City Ransom. It would have really helped to have had more moves to execute and a larger variety of soldiers to fight against. There is no time limit in the game so the best way I found to beat it is to just move slowly and attack each opponent 1 at a time instead of being attacked from both directions. It is tedious but whatever strategy works to beat the game there is no right or wrong way. The game will remind you of the movie Rambo 2 in a lot of ways.Overall the game is very average, once you finish it you probably won’t want to play through it again. No password or save features. It is only 1 player and that also hurts the replay value. The ending wasn’t bad just kind of standard. Overall I would rate P.O.W. 3 stars. For the time period it came out in it wasn’t bad but nor is it very memorable or fun. The product should be priced very cheaply it isn’t worth over $5.Gameplay: 6/10Play Control: 7/10Originality: 5/10Challenge: 8/10Replay Value: 4/10

Bad condition
In description it said it was in good condition however it is hard to get working (need to squeeze the cartridge lightly when inserting to stop insides moving) and it rattles inside.
