Q: How do you wire this unit it as regards to power as I don’t want to have a plug in a socket on show?

This does come with a plug top power supply, however it also comes with a 5 metre extension cable so the socket is usually installed out of sight in a kitchen cupboard / loft etc. Regards, Craig @ Tech 4 Homes

Q: Can it connect to the home NAS drive and play songs from there?

Hello thanks for your question. No sorry the Systemline E100 does not have a direct capability to read from your NAS. However as the unit has Bluetooth and rear line audio input it can play audio from your NAS via your phone, tablet or computer which is connected to the same network as your NAS that has your music stored on. Are you looking for something with radio or a product simply for playing stored music from your NAS? BuyCleverStuff

Thanks for your question, the Systemline E200 is now discontinued and the E100 replaced the unit. The Systemline E100 is much better as it has integrated Bluetooth, DAB+ Radio tuner and it all fits into a deep double gang back box too. Q: Can you add 2 pairs of speakers to the E100, as the kitchen open dining room is quite large, or can the 1 pair be split quite a distance.

Hi Simon, the E100 can run two pairs of speakers adequately. You simply wire the second set of speakers in parallel with the first set of speakers. You could also use a speaker selector switch to control each area if you wish (so you could turn the dining room off and just have the kitchen on and vice versa).
