But in my use of the product it does not allow you to set a current limit. I brought 2 new devices and the current limiter just does not work on this product line. **Q: Two questions: a. when I press power off, it stays on for about 2 to 3 seconds, why? b. How to limit 12v 1A output, current display is always 0** A: It stays in power because of the capacitors so after you turned it off it will take time to empty the capacitors. If the current is 0 that means you do not have any load connected or it is so small. Used it for electro-etching aluminum and it maintained both 9 and 12 volts and limited amps according to what I set it to. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, fairly accurate, be careful with the power inlet on the back *by R***1 on January 23, 2025* I needed a constant-current power supply for something I was working on, but wasn't sure how much use I would get out of one afterwards. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, I came across this supply that not only has the constant current capability I needed at the time but also a constant voltage function as well. This is the perfect size to sit with the rest of my bench equipment and looks right at home sitting on top of my bench DMMs. While the functionality of the unit is as advertised, I did have to knock off 1 star. That is for the standard IEC power inlet on the back. I at first thought I had a DOA supply but found that some IEC power cables are very loose in the socket on this supply, thus not making a good connection.
