Inspirational instruction DVD; learn the secrets of the watercolour master Edward Wesson. Edward Wesson (1910-1983) probably inspired more watercolour artists of his generation than any other. His loose evocate style looked deceptively easy, the skill of a true master! West Country teaching artist Steve Hall is a devotee of Wesson and has co-written two recent books on the painter. In this film he lets us into the secrets of Ted Wesson’s big mop painting style. This film was shot on location in Walberswick, a jewel on the Suffolk coast and one of Ted Wesson’s favourite teaching locations. Steve visits the spots which were the inspiration for many Wesson paintings and shows how to achieve his loose and spontaneous style in five inspiring demonstrations. This disc is marked Region 0 and will play in any country in the world that operates the PAL TV system including Australia and New Zealand and most of Europe. Buyers in the USA, Canada and any other NTSC system country should contact us for an NTSC version which can be supplied at no extra cost. The DVD running time is 88 minutes approx.

Edward Wesson
Edward Wesson is the man who inspires us with our watercolours. His loose style of painting is thrilling and what we hope to attain.

No Proper Gallery
The video is great, but the Gallery consists of only parts of the finished pictures; nowhere can you see a quality image of the pictures as painted. If you look at the last 2 thumbnails under the book on the Amazon page you see that the bottom of the picture ends with the landing stage whereas the picture on the easel has another 2 or 3 inches of foreground. I contacted Town House Films but they were unhelpful, they simply denied the pictures were cropped.
