The legs of the tripod release and fold in if you move it - the screws to tighten the extended legs are weak. The metal support piece half way up is flimsey. You may be a splinter from the friction points on the soft wood. Not the best quality but it still gets compliments from friends who gaze from afar.

Please do not waste your time or money buying this product. It is a poor quality copy of the actual item. Further more it comes from India and if it is faulty it has to be sent back to India obviously. Please note seller takes no responsibility for refunding the postage. Worth waiting for the real thing !!!

Good value as it's very cheap but the wooden parts are a bit bent/warped on our one. Stable and with good quality bulb holder.

Absolutely gutted that it arrived damaged!

Payed for next day delivery , it finally arrived 2 weeks later , broken on top of lightbulb holder and when finally managed to put the bulb in the light doesn't even work , totally useless to anyone ,

Disappointing as its a very good design but the workmanship is poor. Immediately after I'd opened the package and opened up the stand, I saw that the electric cable was partly severed and the copper wires were visible underneath. I'd have probably kept it if it had not been for this. Even so, the stand isn't as sturdy as I'd hoped.

Looks great but it had a loose bolt in the fitting so it wobbled and is a non-UK bulb fitting rather than UK so will have to find bulbs to buy - I would have expected this to be on item description. I have put a new bolt in myself to save the hassle of returning.
