Not quite what I was looking for.
Purchased 3 of these bulbs for ambient candle light on my patio, but seems more like a disco!The flame effect works, but too bright and and the flicker needs to be slower.The 3 modes are OK when you work out how to use them. Flame effect. Fluctuating bright to dim. Permanently on.In fairness if you require a flame fire effect, then these will be ideal.Ah well, back to the candles.

Excellent bulbs!
This light is way cool. If you want to enjoy the effect of candle light, but do not want the smoke or heat or concern about leaving it burning after you fall asleep, this is what you are seeking.

Needs a shade
as without it, you can see the "points" of the LEDs. Quirky effect though, and gives a nice warm glow

It works excellent inside it
Used this bulb inside a paper shade box style light. It works excellent inside it. It creates a really nice ambience of a flickering fire light.
