A = Amps V=Volts. If you turn up the Corse dial, it goes up in bigger steps. Fine means slightly going up, which is helpful when you need a very specific Amp or Voltage. However, once you've turned up the A-Corse to full, you will have to turn up all the dials as well to get the max output of Amps.
