Haven't tested the pinpoint accuracy for cooking but for my purposes of timing kids activities and letting me know when my Espresso machine is heated up I love it. Its super cute and loud enough but not too loud. Bell is kinda nostalgic and the color and design fits well in the kitchen. Just remember to turn past 55min to charge it THEN set your desired time.

I bought this in May and in less than one month, it already broke.

I love it! I bought this as a timer for my computer time (I tend to disregard the timers on my devices)and it works well and is so cute. I may buy another of the other characters if this one holds up well. I like the simplicity of it. No batteries needed.
