These new Le Conte candles were a treat to find online. We've purchased several Yankee Candles, Diptyque, and Joe Malone not only for our home but also as gifts. Never again! Those candles are overpriced and not as special as the Le Conte candle.The Le Conte candle has a "visual" piece of art that appears once the wax begins to liquify, and remains there until the wick is blown out and the wax re-hardens. The packaging it comes in is simple yet elegant, similar to high end candles. The packaging and design make the candle a great gift too... we bought several!The scent was very pleasant and not overwhelming or underwhelming - just right and filled our living room to rid of food smells after cooking. It also burns very long - left it on for a couple hours and seems very long lasting which is another perk.Le Conte Candle... thanks for being my new go-to option for candles and gifts! It smells really well and does last a long time. When I come home in the evening, I light it and let it burn the whole evening. Its been a few days and its still going. So, it does have 50 hours or so of burning time

Honestly, I wasn't very big into candles but after a week of using these I can definitely see the obsession over high quality candles. As a male, I'm not into my room smelling too fragrancy but with Le Conte, there is this pleasant yet subtle scent that isnt overpowering. Also the visual aspect as it burns is a really nice touch. Definitely a new fan going forward and can't wait to order more!

I got a pair of these as a gift (the citrus verbana and the vanilla scents) for my aunt who actually collects candles, and she absolutely adores them. They come with a beautiful image hiding just underneath the surface of the wax that's slowly revealed by the warmth of candle flame. We were also surprised by how quickly the gentle aroma spread throughout the apartment given its size.It's clearly not your factory mass-produced candles. Elegant design, invigorating scent, 100% a fantastic gift item.

I love the citrus smell and especially the surprise art in the candle after lighting! It's the most unique candle I have ever purchased. Also, the fact that the ingredient is soy is really crucial with the amount of hours that I keep the candle on. It's a perfect gift for candle lovers!

Absolutely doesn’t smell like Verbena or anything citrusy. Smells like a very very floral perfume. Super disappointing.
