Plus I wanted fold-up arms to either get them out of the way or slide the chair right under the desk. Very happy with this chair - good size comfortable seat, angle of seat vs back is also comfortable, height range is great, adjustable lumbar support, fold up arms, easy to put together. Also a reasonable price. TIP 1 - You can’t slide the seat forward / back, and you can’t change the angle of the back (probably just as well if you’re up high) - so if those things are important to you then this isn’t the chair for you. It’s comfortable as it is however. TIP 2 - if you’re sitting at a relatively normal desk height, move the round foot bar to its highest position (easy to adjust) then you won’t bang your calves on it.
