This knee brace is even better for me for a number of reasons: 1. It keeps my knee very stable. I play racquetball and that is the main time I use a knee brace. When I play, my knee stays right in place and I typically feel no soreness during or after playing. 2. Fits left or right knee. This works great on both knees. 3. Don't get scratched by the velcro. One of my gripes with the McDavid is that if i wear it on my right knee, it scratches up the left knee. This happens because some of the velcro doesn't fit on the strip and just hangs. This thing is designed nicely so that the velcro all sticks on to the brace. 4. Tight or loose. Some days when my knee is feeling sore I will really compress it tight. But it does limit your range of motion somewhat and also does not eliminate knee pain when you land the wrong way.
