They are suited for making things under light load, like 3D printers. Under heavy load, they flex and for making things like CNC cutters, are too soft. I use them to make a cutter for foam in lost foam casting, which it works very well. They are very well made and glide with little friction, but do make contact with the rod they run on so making a precise fit.
