Illustrated in classic Christmas storybook style and written in rhyming verse, this is a brilliantly fun re-telling of the festive action-movie classic. Sure to raise a smile with die-hard Die Hard fans, it neatly presents the film's plot alongside nicely stylised, but recognisable, characters and scenes from the movie. Definitely not for kids and a shame they couldn't find a couple of extra pages to include Special Agents Johnson and Johnson (no relation), but overall pretty fantastic, enjoyable and satisfying. Well on the way to being a Christmas classic all of its own. Yippee-ki-yay! : )

Great book of a great Christmas film. Really enjoyed reading, some laugh out loud moments ( for me anyway). Beautifully presented the drawing is excellent for such a cheap book. Arrived next day even in these trying times so really nothing to complain about!!!

As massive fans of Die Hard I thought this was the perfect present for my husband last christmas. He was over the moon! Every Christmas eve we watch die hard as it's our favourite christmas film and now we also have the story to read! Love a Die Hard Christmas eve!!!

I got this gift for my dad because every year during our annual Christmas movie marathon, he always claims that “Die Hard” is the single greatest Christmas movie- hands down. After years of hearing his undying affection for this favorite barefooted underdog, I knew I had to get it for him.The book came carefully packaged, had a sturdy cover, glossy pages, and hilarious prose and pictures. If you love the original movie, you are going to love this “child friendly” picture book too. It’s short, sweet, and rhyme to highlight the Christmas spirit in the plot.If this review doesn’t sell it for you, maybe the tears that welled up in my 46 year old father’s eyes will. I felt like I won the best gift award this Christmas!

I am a firm believer that Die Hard is one of the best Christmas movies out there. When I saw this book, I knew it HAD to be added to our holiday book collection. The kids love it, the illustrations are great, the storyline is a nice condensed version of the film, but best of all, it reeks of nostalgia for my husband and I! It easily earns a spot under our tree for our holiday book advent “calendar” (one book wrapped under the tree for each night of December, ending on the 24th with ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’).
