My daughter literally screamed when she opened this for Christmas!
My daughter has not put this doll down since she opened it on Christmas. She used to play in our toy room, often fighting with her brother, but lately she has been spending more time playing in her room with this doll. My daughter is only 6 but has told us that soccer is her destiny! She loves that this doll is just like her! Blonde hair, blue soccer jersey, etc. I am so happy I found this item on sale and she has enjoyed it so much. I will be purchasing more of this line from American Girl in the future and if she takes care of them once she is older we will invest in the more expensive versions from American Girl Doll (the ones that have the books to go with them).

My daughter loves it, quality is less than it used to be
We love love love American Girl dolls in our family. The doll itself still seems to be the same quality as years ago, but accessories such as shoes have definitely declined in quality. I remember shoes from American Girl years ago used to be rubber soles with actual laces or velcro. Most of the items in this set are plastic, or even the soccer ball is just a "stress ball" kind of foam. All are super cute, and exactly as pictured, but the items unfortunately are just starting to go down in quality.

Gift for Granddaughter
My granddaughter asked for this for Christmas and she loves it. She’s 10 and has lots of dolls but this one is special. We even ordered extra shoes because she is very fashion conscious.

Well worth the price
My daughter loves her American Girl Doll! And for a fraction of the price of new. What a great deal this was and holding up well even a year later.
