YINGLUN 120m HDMI KVM over Ethernet Extender Single Cat6/7 Cable Transmitter + Receiver with USB Ports for Keyboard Mouse to control the Signal for PC DVD Sky HD Box PS3 PS4 Satellite Box and other Equipment

This review relates to the the HDMI KVM Over IP Extender 120m.Easy to set up except for the IR transmitter and receiver as it is not clear which is which, also it states on the box and in the limited manual supplied that this unit is suitable fro one tomany but there appears to be no way to purchase additional receivers. The manual also displays the use of a network switch to link one transmitter to multiple receivers but again it is not clear if this needs to be a dedicated switch or whether it is possible to use it over a normal Ethernet network mixed in with other devices. I really expected a much more detailed documentation for a device at this price or at least a link to the manufacturers web site for more information.The only problem I found when installing the device was the use of a 10metre cable between my FreeSat decoder and the transmitter which did not work, I was using the original cable that I had been using before installing this device to check if all was working before removing the long cable. Switching to a short 1metre HDMI cable solved the problem, so keep the HDMI cables short.Great product and works out of the box, I would give it a five star rating but for the lack of information in the very sparse manual.EditAfter checking with Yinglun, I tried out using the boxes with a network switch, my idea was to use my existing network to transmit the signal to different rooms through a standard network. Unfortunately it does not work with more than one switch, trying to send the data through a switch locally to the transmitter to a second switch local to the receiver resulted in the signal breaking up so yes it can work with other networked devices but all receivers have to be connected to the same network switch as the transmitter as shown in the manufacturers documentation.

This item does not work as described, and I cannot get a reply from the company that sold it! Been waiting over 5 months for a responce. Item does not always connect so requires a reboot to get working as it should. Not impressed.

Plug and play, works fantastically for me. Wireless keyboard and mouse have almost no latency and I can game at 60fps! Quick delivery and decent packaging along with a friendly support email from the manufacturer make this a winner!
