The privacy screen does its job. Screen only visible if you are directly in front. However, the screen is self stick and you can’t choose which side faces you. I do not like to have the shiny side facing me because it make it harder for me to see and causes some glare.

Purchased to keep nosy coworkers out of my business. This privacy screen works great. It was easy to apply and can be done quickly. I also tried removing it and had no problem doing so. There was no residual adhesive left on my computer after, which was a relief. This screen really helps with the glare from outside light. My desk is next to a window so there are certain days or times of the day where the glare from the sun (or even just a bright cloudy day) can make working difficult and strain my eyes from squinting. This privacy screen definitely darkens your viewable area but it's to be expected and you get used to it pretty quickly. I love that it reduces blue light (my poor eyes!) and I found it came well-packaged.

I have been looking for a screen cover that will be useful in the sun. As the sunny months are ahead of me, I want to have the ability to work outside more from my laptop.This has great reviews, so I took a chance on it.First, it came with NO instructions. I searched, but didn't find any that were thorough, so I went off some that someone had posted in their review.My stickers were different, and the plastic guides didn't fit the computer like it appeared they should. plus, when I tried to slide the cover in, it either stuck, or popped off the guides.So then, when I finally got the cover on with the stickers provided, I turned on my computer to find that the stickers are clearly visible while working on my computer. Even though it's only on the perimeter, it's still hugely annoying and distracting.If I could return it, being that it's been completely opened and used, I would. I'm currently seeking another screen cover that is simply like sticker to adhere on your screen.Also, this does NOT protect from the sun's glare.

This product overall is nice and does its job. However, if for whatever reason you take it off to show your screen it is a pain in the a** to get back on. It falls/slides/tilts regardless of what you do. I had a privacy screen for a prior mac that you could take on and off repeatedly without any issues and the magnet was very strong. This one is not at all the case and it is disappointing.

Edited to addAfter my review posted the company reached out because they wanted to help resolve my issue. They offered a new screen or a refund.Looking at the computer screen directly, this screen provides no privacy unless you turn the screen brightness down. Provides privacy only when looking at the computer screen from the side. Not worth the price.

Super easy to install, and even flip it

Overall great product at a decent price. Product worked exactly as expected, instructions were clear and concise. No issues with applying screen to the laptop, the product came with two options for applying the screen. One method used double-sided stickers, while the other used a ledge-like system where you wedged the privacy screen between plastic stickers. Both methods were effective, although the double-sided sticker option was more secure and would be a longer lasting method. The screen fit the laptop perfectly and appeared dark from the sides. From above and behind, the screen looked normal, matching the product description.

Did not even come with a screen protector or the lining. Im not sure what it came with. I took of the layer and it was not even a screen protector. so much for $50. DO NO BUY

I got this product after an experience where I was working out of a coffee shop and a total stranger sitting beside me so obviously would lean over to look at my screen!With this screen on, I'm eager to go back and run into this snoop lol.Gave the lower score on brightness because you can't expect to have brightness and anti-privacy and anti-glare. Turn up the brightness on your macbook and it's perfect.
