Easy to set up and use. Sound quality is rather good!
I got this as I have a Apple air play only dock and I've switched to Android. I love this dock so I've looked for ways to use it with my new phone. I like to stream Spotify to it and air play was brilliant. So I've researched the internet and came across this item. It's credit card size, can recieve and transmit, the cable connectors aren't flimsy and it was easy to pair with my new phone. The sound isn't bad at all and I'm quite happy with it... so far! You also get an airplane headphone connector so you can listen to your own headphones on the flight. In fact, you can pair 2 sets of headphones so it saves on another set of adapters.

A great wee machine - once you get used to it.
It works well but is a bit finicky to work. One button that operates one indicator light (that either changes colour or flashes or both!) gets a tad confusing when you are wanting to switch on , switch off, play music on your Bluetooth device, charge it up - oh and holding the button down for longer to access a different operation from the list above. So (given that it holds its charge for ca. 20hrs. of operation) our answer to forgetfulness is to write down the various presses of the button and colours of the light. It is all in the "manual" (a folded piece of paper) but a word processed sheet is replaceable and the manual is not. However, its Bluetooth connectivity it first rate and the device itself has the virtue of being small and easily placed beside the "parent" machine. The connectivity is impressive and certainly not subject to interference like some other devices we have. This device was recommended to us by a salesman (who was talking about a new radio/CD player and also a Sonos device) as the best he knew of and it should be noted he had no interest in sale of it as the shop didn't sell them.

Can connect 2 headsets at once
In my error I purchased a TV without Bluetooth so instead of sending the TV back I opted to by this receiver which works very well, the rest of this information has nothing to do with the device but may help someone not experience the problems I ran into, so I mounted the TV on the wall and purchased a headphone lead extender I had to take TV off the wall to place this in the TV as I couldn't reach etc so I connected up the receiver and everything worked fine 2 headsets no problems, until I wonted to listen to the TV through normal speakers, apparently when you plug any head phone wire into the tvs jack it grounds the unit cutting off audio to the tvs internal speakers easy fix pull headphones extender out TV speakers work fine.now I'm back to step one no Bluetooth and I'm not gonna take the TV off the wall each time I wont to use the headset. So I looked on audio forums and was told use the rca connectors so I purchased a lead from amazon rca to 3.5mm jack took TV off wall fitted lead hooked up to receiver no sound ? Couldn't figure it out so back on the forums only to find out that budget tvs don't have rca audio out only audio in!! It was only 200 quid so be warned only higher end tvs actually support rca out. Back on the forums told to use the optical audio out so back to amazon and I found an optical lead to 3.5 does require usb power supply so TV off wall lead in all hooked up no sound again!! Back on forums like a fool I didn't go into the tvs settings and change the sound from TV speaker to spdif once this was done everything worked fine. So to sum up don't be tight like me and buy a budget TV lol it cost me over 50 in leads to get this sorted if I'd spent 250 on TV it would have came with blue tooth the only advantages of doing what I have done is thst the receiver can power 2 wireless headsets normal TV Bluetooth can only accommodate 1.

Noticeable latency.
I returned mine. I was planning to use mine on a audio mixer for video games but the is a solid second delay. These devices are perfectly fine for music but for movies and games you will notice desync between the audio and what is happening on screen. Despite it not doing what I wanted it to do. The product is well built was easy to sync my earbuds to and uses USB-C.

Great little gadget for an old car. Excellent battery life!
I'm honestly so impressed with this little gadget. Bought it for my girlfriend's birthday to enhance our roadtrip playlists, and it's been a total god send! There's no way I'd get bluetooth in a 2006 Renault Clio without it. Latency is really low, great value for money, easy to use and set up, connectivity works perfectly and the signal quality is great. Top marks!

NOT low latency
To minimise latency issues, I shopped around - even checking the aptX web site where this unit was on their list of aptX devices. So I bought two - one to TX, one to RX with wired headphones. That way, there was nothing else in the way, and I should achieve around better than 90ms (and a target of 35ms) latency that Qualcomm's aptX promises. TX/RX paired successfully (I did this in a Bluetooth-free zone to avoid it trying to connect to other devices), and the light-blue indicator showed that it was paired aptX, but there was a marked delay making it completely unsuitable for live music. So I measured the latency - it was 240ms, which is unusable. Pairing with a cheap pair of Bluetooth headphones - delay was STILL 240ms. So looks like aptX isn't working. This is even far too much for watching TV - that's a 10-frame delay in the UK. When paired, the sound quality is excellent and Bluetooth pairing worked well. Range was also very good. They'll be returned, and Qualcomm/aptX informed.

Excellent
Works brilliantly, very happy with how easy it is to set up, has paired to my headphones no problem, has allowed me to use my headphones with a TV that isn’t Bluetooth, doesn’t lose connection either

Awesome clarity
This simple little device really impressed me... It's small feels sleek in the hand... Is light enough that I feel comfortable leaving it dangling from a wire or plug without fear or cable strain or damaging the device it's connected to. The range is good... But the sound... The sound is shockingly good for a device this cheap. I tested it on crappy headphones and on my expensive headphones too and it drives them both as well as you could possibly expect... Also the controls are nice and simple and pairing was a breeze. I even connected this to my krk speakers and had them pumping music with no noticeable imperfections... Genuinely impressed would recommend

Sound Delay
When I tried the device, it turned out that there was a delay in the sound, and this bothered me a lot because I expected it to be a good device, but I was disappointed after I tried it.

SOUND DELAY ON MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
If you are intending to use this product as a transmitter to your musical Instrument such as Keyboard, or Guitar, then DONT! as it has noticeable delay on transmitting the sound from your musical Device.
