They work as intended, grip parallel to avoid the item swivelling at a much lower pressure than would be need with regular pliers.Good value, seem well made for the price.Only criticism - I agree with another reviewer who said the handles are rather too smooth (slippery ?)

Good quality value for money

Quite handy pliers to have in the workshop.

Used for pulling needles through leather. The pliers do NOT have any serrations so they don't mark the needles. They are well manufactured and work nicely. if I were a little critical, I guess I would say that the handles are a little slippery, but that's a detail really. Good parallel action too.

These are great quality and work well, gripping items in a parallel motion unlike regular pliers. This minimises the possibility of damage to soft materials and metals.

very good set of pliers for the price -an excellent addition to an hobbyist's toolbox. They are comfortable to use and grip well.

I use them for pulling the occasional stubborn needle through leather, they work fairly well but the handles could do with a rubberised grip - the metal is pretty smooth despite the appearance of a textured metal grip, which can make them a bit awkward to use because they slip in the hand fairly easily

I'm not sure quite how I've never bought a pair of these before. They are fantastic for holding small flat parts securely and accurately.Not particularly expensive and seem well enough made to last a very long time.
