THE HONEST COMPANY Green Silicon Baby Bottle 5OZ, 1 EA

So I bought the original honest company bottles and when I went to go buy more I couldn't find them anywhere. On a whim I searched Amazon! And sure enough, I found some! I was really nervous that they'd be fake, or somehow deformed. But they aren't! I know some people have issues with the caps. It's annoying but I really don't use the caps too often anyway. As for the leaking, don't over tighten the bottle.Another thing I found useful is these bottles are wider at the rim so they screw on perfectly to my Lansinoh manual pump so when we travel I can pump and feed easily all from the same bottle!

Great bottle at first, but my son was able to push the nipple through the bottle starting around 4-5 months! I guess that is why they are discontinued! We love the nipples though and ended up using them with different bottles. Slower flow, which is what we needed!

I love that these are silicone. My daycare only allows plastic bottles and these slipped past them without any issues. Who wants their breast milk in heated plastic?! We haven't had any leaking problems like others have mentioned and have had gen for a few weeks. The cap is awful, though. It requires two hands to remove and sometimes a fork. That's a big flaw if you have a baby in one arm, and she's hungry. I also don't like that the bottles cane with two nipples--but they were both the same size! We were at the store in a couple weeks after buying these to get the size up of nipples. That all gets expensive fast.

I love these bottles however, I ordered 2 green and was sent 2 blue. Was kind of disappointing.

Leaks. Very very difficult to take of the lead.

We bought one of these as a trial, then ended up with four more. We tried the Dr browns wide and standard, Life Factory, Born Free, Medela Calma, Avent and even Playtex before going with this bottle for our preemie twins. The Dr Browns and Life Factory the standard nipples like you would get in the hospital and did not help with breastfeeding. The born free nipple (not the new breeze) didn't work either as the babies would not as the large second part of the nipple was like a hard stop for them, thus making the nipple like the dr browns or life factory. The Avent and Playtex nipples would have worked, but I didn't like the plastic bottles. These bottles were the middle ground. Supposedly, the medical grade silicon does not have any additional chemical additives. I can't verify that other than online research, but was a better choice to plastic to us. Also, I don't warm bottles in the silicon bottles. I bought a bunch of evenflo 4oz glass bottles just for storing in the fridge and warming just to have an additional barrier to chemicals leaching at high temperatures. Also, these bottles are very insulative, in that it takes a long time to warm bottles (or cool liquid if too warm) once in the silicon bottle. the Honest nipples had the second slowest flow nipples of all the bottles we tried - and for small babies, that is a big deal. They also seem to keep with a correct breastfeeding latch even with using these bottles and that was a key issue. These bottles are not perfect and we have a couple things we don't like about them 1) the cap is terribly hard to get off, we have only used the cap a few times when we felt we had to - we go without it most of the time for our sanity. 2) As our littles have gotten bigger and enjoy grabbing the bottle themselves, if you are not watching - the nipple can get pushed into the bottle allowing milk to just pour right out of the bottle.

This is an amazing bottle. Its similar to the coso tomo bottle and its silicon which is a plus. My son is now 5 months, soo I think I will be using this bottle only for a shorter period.
