Have used this tool every day for at least 4 eggs the last 8 weeks. I have yet to break the yoke of any eggs. I don't like scrambled eggs. I would recommended this tool for anyone who has trouble breaking eggs.

THere's a learning curve. You'll try several eggs before getting the right measure of pull on the hammer, and the egg top does NOT screw off a boiled egg: you have to lift it usually in pieces, but large pieces, and a nicely-ready egg. Best to hold egg under faucet to cool it a bit before whacking it, which also gets a cleaner lift-off.

Dissatisfied with the product. The description says it works with raw eggs, but it definitely does not work for this. It just shatters the shell (getting it all over the inside)

It opens eggs very good, you require two or three eggs to realize that with two beats or even three it works better, I like to prepare ice creams (vanilla's one) that requires many yolks, with this device practically 100% of yolks came out complete (not break).

Tried a full dozen eggs. Doesn't cleanly cut like advertised, but it does work better than anything else I've tried or seen and that matters.

I liked that it cracked the soft boiled egg shell in a round circle....but I wish it would have completely capped it off.

Amazing little doo-dad, that actually does what it claims to do. Love it.

It's not perfect like the pictures, but it works. I like that it is lighter and smaller than most egg toppers, and therefore easier to store.
