How it works: Insert a standard 9-volt battery into the unit. The unit is automatically activated by a sound of barking. When the device is within the range of a barking dog, it will emit an ultrasonic sound to silence the dog and stop the barking. Feature: When the outdoor bark control is within range of a barking dog, the unit will be automatically activated and emits an ultrasonic sound. The ultrasonic sound can be heard by dogs but is silent to humans. Startled by the high-pitched sound that is safe and effective, the dog should stop barking.
