I bought this a few weeks ago. What a game changer - ice on tap and quick and easy to use. The unit is black and well-designed and it looks nice and neat on my black marble worktop. Makes lots of ice cubes and has been a boon throughout the heatwave. No more shopping for and carrying bags of ice. I have drunk so much more water as the chilled drink is more enjoyable than tap or bottled water. It provides me with ice on-tap, I use it all the time. Don’t have to fill my freezer full of bags of ice. Really delighted with quality and how well it works.

I am so happy I got this ice maker! I moved to the UK from California, and not having a plumbed-in fridge with a built in ice-maker is something I've found difficult. I know, I sound spoiled! But for me, I feel like ice should not that big of a luxury. Making drinks with maybe 3 ice cubes, to conserve the number of cubes in the tiny little trays (which crack, leak, and do not give up their ice without smashing them on the counter!) is a disappointment I no longer need to endure. The key point to this machine is: it works. It makes ice, and I'm getting plenty of use out of it. I fill up large zip lock bags with ice cubes to store in my freezer, and then I wipe her down and store her away. I have managed to find space in a cupboard in my tiny kitchen, as obviously storage is an issue. This isn't something I want on my counter permanently. That said, it is rather beautiful. I have to say the matt black finish is sleek. And, I am delighted there is a handle! Great design feature, since it does have some weight to it, and moving it in and out of the cupboard is far easier with handle access. Here's how it works: 1. You have to have it sit upright for 24hours before you use it. I think something to do with the anti-freeze and having it delivered. 2. Then, you clean it - which is super easy. Just wipe it all down and dry. 3. You open the lid and fill water to the fill line (I use filtered water to avoid lime-scale build up) 4. You position the basket inside the machine and close the lid. 5. There is an obvious ON button. And you can choose the size of the ice, Small or Large. It's digital, you press the button and it lights up green. 6. Then, you wait. The machine will make ice. When the basket is full, it automatically stops production. 7. You empty the basket, and the machine will resume making ice with the remaining water. 8. A light will come on when you need to add more water. Because the machine stops making ice when the basket is full, you can't leave this running overnight or unattended if you are intending on making lots of ice. Also, the ice will start to melt while it sits in the basket, albeit slowly. There is no alarm beep to advise that the basket is full, as far as I have experienced. It is kind of noisy, but you know, it's making ice, so that's expected. I don't find it overly loud. I have it on right now and it's not bothersome. It sounds quieter than the standing fan I have blowing. As other reviewers have noted the ice size is rather small. I have only ever put it on the Large setting because I can't imagine the point of having smaller ice than the "large" size it makes. I suppose I should try just to see! I haven't bothered up until now. Overall I am SO happy I have this machine. It is easy to use in every aspect. I consider it an excellent investment, and am thrilled I bought it. I don't even remember what I paid for it, but it's worth it! I can make ice-tea whenever I want, with loads of ice! I can make a proper G&T with half a glass full of ice! YES! Summer is so much more delightful with ice. I'd say that although this is heavy, it is portable in terms of the size. You could pack this in your car if you are going on vacation in the UK. You could loan it to a friend! Highly recommend. PS, you won't usually find me leaving reviews with this much detail. I just put my ice-maker on today and I thought: everyone needs to know about this! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Decent ice maker, fill it with water after about 7 mins have your first ice cubes!! You can have quite small or a bigger gap in the middle and quite small but still they are decent ice cubes. Taste like a normal ice cube just like water! They stay nicely frozen in ice make for a while and they also provide a few baggies that you can dump huge amounts of ice cubes into and then freeze. It has a nice handle for you to move it about so is very portable and bought with great timing for the heatwave and is very suitable for summer!! Very decent purchase!

Absolutely a game changer !! I was forever filling ice cube trays and putting freezer on power freeze and waiting hours !! This puts out a load of ice cubes into the internal ice bucket every 6 mins ! They give you huge bags as well and you just scoop them up as you want ! 2 diff sizes of cubes and so easy to use wish I had got it sooner !! Highly recommend and considering ice is now £1.20 a bag it’s very economical 😁I love it ❤️

This little ice cube maker has been great for making iced coffees and also for the ice in my gin and tonic. It's really easy and straightforward to use, and easy to clean and empty. There is a little plug underneath that you pull out to drain the water out of, and it has a carry handle so that you can carry it to your sink to empty it. You can choose from 2 sizes of ice cubes, and it makes them pretty quickly. You should allow your ice cube maker 24 hours after receiving it before turning it on. Good value for money and looks great on my coffee station.

Stopped working after 3 days light use. With the water reservoir around 30% full it came up with the signal toi refill water. After several restarts, it worked again with the same amount of water, but then after a full refill, and with the level down again to about 30%, the light came up again. Sent it back for refund since the delivery of a replacement would have taken 3 weeks.

Great for our back up ice when the fridge can't keep up for parties, also use in summer out side for drinks easy to clean and makes ice quickly they are smaller but still great

This ice making machine has been brilliant for producing ice cubes as and when you want. Easy to use and delivers a nice sized ice cube. Used recently during a large family BBQ and great to have ice cubes on tap rather than going to the freezer regularly to get what you want. Value for money and well pleased with my purchase.

Decent little ice maker. Has two settings, small and large ice. The large is more of a medium, but works decently in cocktails. Like pretty much all countertop ice makers, this does not actively cook ice. It only cools when it is making new ice. So once full, it sits there slowly melting back into the water reservoir. One way I make it last a little longer is to precool the water with the first batch or two of ice. Or dump the half melted ice back in the reservoir all at once if I want fresh ice. When ore cilled, it makes larger ice cubes that stick around a lot longer. This is quick enough to turn on when you get home and have enough ice for multiple cocktails in 30 minutes. I use this in conjunction with a small ice bucket in the freezer, so I can make a single cocktail for example without having to turn it on and wait. All in all, it is a decent little unit and I would recommend if it didn't die at exactly 13 months after arrival. I submitted a request for warranty or troubleshooting to the seller, warranty wasn't a year, but who knows. I'm not hopeful, but will update this review if I get a response and adjust the rating of they help. **Edit** 10FEB 25 Up until last week, I would have given this 4.5 stars for being good at what it is. Today: 1.5 stars. €95 kitchen appliance should run for more than 13 months before failing. **Edit** 13FEB 25 Customer service from Amazon website was very responsive, after sending a video of the machine failito function, they concluded it was inoperable and are now sending a replacement. I'll respond again one that arrives and proves operational. Assuming the replacement arrives in a timely fashion, I can indeed give my recommendation for this ice machine. It works great for what it is and The customer service is top notch. I would buy again!
