BLU RAY Undisputed Complete Collection Uncut ( Trilogy )

Just so fans of the films can decide whether to buy this set or not I've written a review below to help you decide as there is not a lot of info out there about this release. I received the set today from Amazon.This set contains the first three films in the Undisputed Franchise.The fourth is coming soon to Bluray and DVD.There are three discs housed in a normal slimline Amaray case. That's one film per disc. No English subs on any disc just Dutch. Unfortunately there are no extra bonus features on this release. The U.K. Region 2 DVD of Undisputed did have two interviews with Snipes and Rhames totalling 7 minutes. The U.K Region 2 DVD of Undisputed 2 had a Commentary with the director and stars Adkins and White plus a making off, so you might want to keep the dvd's. Part 3 never had a release over here on DVD as far as I'm aware.UNDISPUTED. 2002.1 hour 33 mins and 36 seconds long.It is a great first entry into the franchise. Directed by Walter Hill and starring Wesley Snipes,Ving Rhames and Peter Falk (Colombo) with a great supporting cast that includes Michael Rooker from The Walking Dead,Jon Seda from The Pacific, Dayton Callie from Deadwood, Wes Studi, Fisher Stevens and Denis Arndt. It is a prison fight drama about the world heavyweight boxing champion George 'Iceman' Chambers (Rhames) being sent to prison to serve time for a sexual assault and whilst inside has to fight the prison champion Monroe Hutchen played by Snipes. Lots of drama, great acting and action follow.The disc has decent picture quality but is the lesser transfer of the three but it's not bad by any stretch. 3.0 out of 5.0. It's quite grainy which is good, as it retains detail but it is soft and not pin sharp like modern films. The colours looked a bit washed out at times but it's still better than the DVD transfer. The DVD was okay though.Soundtrack is clear with no major issues. English DTS HD MA and DD 5.1 soundtracks.Menu is a still photo with Snipes and Rhames, with three options in Dutch. Start film, scene selections (12) and audio. It's easy to work out which is which.UNDISPUTED 2.1 hr 37 minutes and 34 seconds.It has better picture quality. It is quite grainy in places but that means it retains a modest amount of detail. Again its still quite soft in places and the colours can look a little oversaturated but you can still tell it's a HD transfer. 3.5 out of 5.0.Soundtrack is clear with no major problems. English DTS HD MA 5.1 and English DD 5.1. No English subs just Dutch.It has a still menu to music. With three options in Dutch. Start film, scene selections (12) and audio. Again its easy enough to work out which is which.Undisputed 3 is 1hr 35 42 secs long.It has better picture quality than 1 and 2.No grain but the detail,contrast,colour and sharpness are better. 4.0 out of 5.0. for PQ.It looks more like a modern transfer.Soundtrack is English DTS-HD MA 5.1. It's a four out of five.No English subs just Dutch.Menu is a still of Boyka, no music. Again three options in Dutch,like the second disc.In summary although all three films aren't anything we haven't seen before they are all well made (number 1 having a bigger budget and a cinema release) and have a bit of heart and soul which elevates them above the usual direct to DVD rubbish. They are interesting and the actual boxing/MMA matches are brilliant, so well written and choreographed, they look amazing and again elevate themselves against the competition. Scott Adkins as Boyka is something else. Definitely worth the price of £12.95 and adding to your collection. The franchise continues in number 4 Boyka:Undisputed as that is coming to Bluray and DVD soon and that is superb aswell. A great fight franchise for sure and well worth adding to your collection.

I wanted to get the three Undisputed in one box so I got this. Mainly for the original Undusputed which I never owned on blu ray. Is it the best definite release? No as it is a Dutch release with Dutch Menu and English audio but ok averall. For the price you cant go wrong. Its easy to start the movies as only three options even though in Dutch. Happy with the product averall.

The first movie is a somewhat forgettable prison boxing movie. The second and third films are sequels in name only, and are two of the best martial arts movies by western actors in modern times. Prison fighting again, but done just right, great characters, and superbly shot, edited and directed. I mean this relative to the type of movie they are of course. "Fight" movies are extremely difficult to film and to make look convincing.Issac Florentine assembles some of the best in the business. No wires, no blurred close ups, and no choppy editing. Jaw dropping stuff.The blu-rays are a mixed bunch, starting off poor quality with the first film and getting better. The third movie has excellent picture and sound quality.

Films are good as expected. The description of the product could be improved. It is an import, as stated, this means that not just the writing on the box is in Dutch, the menus are as well. The films also play in English with Dutch subtitles on as default. You have to go onto the Dutch menu and work out how to turn the subtitles off before you watch the film. Other than that - no probs.

this is for undisputed complete collection uncut blu ray by bridge the one were it shows a blu ray case first 3 undisputed movies in 1 normal blu ray case with 3 discs i brought this to save space as the other one by bridge has 3 slim cases in a box the second film is a bit grainy but the third there was no grain a bargain at 10 pound

The films are good and good quality, although the instructions on the disc menu are not english, so you need to guess what you are selecting. The film starts with subtitles, so you need to figure out how to turn them off.

3 great movies. picture and sound quality excellent, can`t wait for the 4th movie boyka undisputed to be released this year.

I love the Undisputed franchise so I thought I'd buy it to complete my collection but I have yet to receive the product in question.
