Takes significant time to start melting and doesn't produce anywhere near the flow of a mains powered. That said it a very professional looking tool and does have use on small projects. Doesn't beat the gimmic where it's powered ac but disconnnects and uses the stored heat... Given the modest glue production this is for small glue jobs, if you intend to stick down floors or whatever it won't work

I had a glue gun many years ago that broke – many years ago. Ever since then I’ve needed a glue gun many times, I only had a broken one that didn’t work. I finally threw that one away (I brought it with me on a recent move!) and started looking for a new one. Should I get a cheap one with a cord for a few dollars or spend more? Then I saw this cordless glue gun from Feita – one that would stand up all by itself, and I was decided and ordered it.It's charged via a USB C cable (included). Once it’s charged (it doesn’t take too long, and it lasts a long time), you can press the trigger and out comes the glue. It has a no-drip nozzle, which didn’t work (at first) because I didn’t realize that you’re supposed to pull the glue stick back from the tip. Once I did that it didn’t drip.But what I especially like about this glue is that it securely sits on your table. It doesn’t have a little wire stand that allows it to easily tip over. It has a broad base, and you can always tip it over, but it’s hard to do accidentally. It also has a really easy to hold grip.A whole packet of glue sticks come with this glue gun, and it will take many different size of glue sticks.

I've had it for 1 yr & was only able to use it once for maybe like 3 minutes until it went cold, died & never worked, charged, came on, got hot ever again. So yeah that 3 min was the most I ever got out of it...woohoo🙃 Frustrating for sure!

This Hot glue gun is ready for light use in 2 ½ minutes. Full duty use I found to be less than 5 minutes. It does have a fine nozzle great for fine detailed projects. I like the silicone sleeve leaving just a small portion of the nozzle exposed. I find it makes it easier to clean while still warm. What makes this a great deal better then the corded hot glue guns I have is the stability to stand and not have a cord yanking it over. Even when plugged in with the USB cord it is very stable. The cord plugs straight in at the base and done not affect its stability to stand up on its own. They supply the USB charge cord with the hot glue gun. It is an older style connecter USB A to USB Micro B. You can use it while charging. Using it will slow the charge time that can normally be charged in 2 hours. Going cord free or a reliable stand so it doesn’t keep falling over is wonderful. You don’t have to draw your attention away from your project to stand this glue gun up. It has a larger base then others with no need of a small swingout kickstand or try to balance or make sure the cord won’t pull it off the table.

It is great when it works but it is super finicky and doesn't always take or hold a charge.
