It also stays on for longer than other scales. I haven't timed it, but it won't shut off for a while. I also enjoy the capacity; 2500g (5.5 lbs) is more than enough for most cooking applications, but if you cook or bake in large batches, the capacity might be a little low.I love the brew assist as well. I could do the math myself if I wanted a, say, 1:15 ratio, but for folks whose multiplication skills are lacking (or for lazy people who don't want to have a calculator), this scale makes the task very, very easy.This is probably the only scale I will own for a very long time. I don't do espresso, but I know that this won't function as an espresso scale because of its size. But for all other coffee applications, I think it's one of the best on the market. The readings are accurate.Truth be told I had a very accurate scale before that worked just fine. I only bought the Fellow because I wanted a scale that felt and looked as precise and well made as my Breville Espresso Pro.
