Do not be like me and buy your first dado stack after making ten thousand cabinet carcasses. This 6" stack is PERFECT for Dewalt's DWE7491 - that's what I used this on and was beyond impressed. The saw had ZERO issues cutting a 5/16" deep dado - I believe that's what I did - in one pass. So here's the kicker: Look at my photo, this is cheap $45 a sheet imported plywood with a terrible thin veneer - not $95 a sheet ply from the big box aisles. This cut almost smooth as a baby's bum - granted it's brand new and that image shows the 3rd cut I made with this blade. So let's talk arbor: Mine was nearly tapped out with two blades, three chippers, and just one shim. This set up got me just a tad undersized for 3/4" ply, so I maybe needed one more spacer or a combination of the much thinner shims. So I think the Dewalt DWE7491 arbor has just enough real estate to hold what you need to cut 3/4" ply but NO MORE. And that's okay. Two dado passes to achieve that odd wider than 3/4" dado is much faster than 6 single blade passes - I might know that. So overall, if you own a smaller contractor sized saw, I HIGHLY recommend this blade.
