Arrived quickly, although I haven’t used the fire yet, they look nice , however I ordered mixed but they were all white, so I have mixed them with the different colours I already have.

I bought these to replace coal in an electric fire, to make it cleaner and safer with an inquisitive newly crawling baby on the go! The size is good - just what I wanted, and they're very light so not a problem if picked up and dropped, but they leave white chalk on your hands when touched, so they're not suitable. I feel misled by the description of these bring "ceramic", as that implies there is no coating to them as these have. Fine for decorative purposes if you don't mind having them all the same shape and size (I overestimated and only needed 6 to fit at the front of my electric fire), but no use if they're likely to be touched or moved as they're easy for a little one to pick up and are very messy (and potentially risky if baby puts their fingers in their mouth after touching them).

I prefer to dress our bio ethanol fire for show with these when not in use and remove them when I light it. I think the flames look "cooler" without the pebbles.

Not what I wanted. Definitely not ceramic although I've no idea what they are. Supposed to be boxed and came in 2 plastic bags. A waste of money.
