(Picture is of a male hand so not clear if suitable for small woman’s hand)** A: You can go really, really narrow. The strap on both sides of the face is fully functional, meaning that there are notches and corresponding slots along the full length. The only fixed thing is the width of the face -you can’t change or bend that. I can’t measure but I’ve just taken it to it’s smallest point and I could only get my little finger through. I’ve got quite narrow fingers and I don’t have any problem at all (I’m a woman!) **Q: How do you replace the battery yoursefl? Surely you dont have to tale it to a watch shop and pay for battery change. Does the back unscrew?** A: You can change the battery yourself but it is very important to replace the gasket and 4 screws. It is easy, you just need to be careful to replace the waterproof seal. It requires a small screwdriver, but no specialist equipment.Alternatively a good quality jeweller will be able to do it for you. **Q: Do you manually press a button after a lap to count it? If so why is someone saying you cant pause counting? Surely it counts the laps you just press?** A: Yes, you press the button after every lap/length and this adds a length/lap to the tally count and also records the time of that specific length/lap. Thanks, Mark **Q: Can I fix this securely to a swimsuit strap as I don't want to wear it on my finger? or will it fall off if not held?** A: You can fix any SportCount to a swimsuit strap using the adjustable plastic strap which normally fits around swimmers’ index finger. Since SportCount is designed to neatly fit on the finger and not interfere with technique, I would suggest you give it a try and see how you go. Failing that you can always attach it to your swimsuit and operate using your fingers. I hope this helps.
