I bought these to brighten up and enhance the look of our kitchen. They were a good price, have a remote that allows you to choose from all kinds of colors and brightness levels, and they were actually quite easy to install.We decided to install them under the cabinets above all our kitchen appliances on one side of our sink. We have a couple cabinets on the other side but the cords are not long enough to go across our sink so we put them all on one side. First I drilled a hole in the bottom of the cabinet directly above the outlet I wanted to plug into. I made the hole a little larger than needed to fit the plug through so I could dangle the IR receiver out. I then fastened the power unit (that the four light cords plug into) where I wanted it inside that cabinet against the back wall and tied up the extra power cord and fastened it to the back wall as well. I then drilled a whole for 3 of my cords to pass through to the next cabinet since 3 of my lights would be under that cabinet. Right next to where I wanted each light I drilled a hole up into my cabinet so that the cable could be run mostly inside the cabinets (with one exception where I had a lazy susan I could reach under). I used the included 3M velcro adhesive stickers to put each light where I wanted it under the cabinet. (The kit also comes with screws to screw the lights into place.) Ran all the cables back to the power unit inside the cabinet, fastening them into areas against the cabinet walls I was not using and plugged it in.Grabbed the remote and played with the colors. It was super easy, the hardest part was the drilling and cable management.The lights provide a nice ambient light that would serve well as a night light with all kitchen lights off, or as ascent lights with other kitchen lights on.Pros: Easy to install, wall-powered so no need to replace batteries, good color selection, everything you need to install (except for a drill which you might not need) comes in the kitCons: Power plug takes up wall outlet space (would've been nice to have a USB power cord that could plug into possible USB outlet)

These lights were easy to install, shades of brightness were excellent, colors available too. I did a custom installation in wall cabinets. Made 2" holes in the top of the cabinet and recessed the lights with wiring along the top of the cabinet. WORKED GREAT! One thing to be careful of: When connecting the individual lights' cords to the distribution box, be careful when you insert the plugs onto the pins in the socket and be sure they seat all the way in. Check the pins for alignment first - they MAY need to be raised just a bit from the bottom in order to seat easily without bending any of them when inserting the plug. I would recommend these lights.

Aesthetically, these lights look really nice, even when they aren't turned on. I installed them under an exposed shelf where you can see them all the time (not like the under side of a kitchen cabinet) and they aren't all that noticeable when they are turned off, which I like. When they're turned on, they put out a decent amount of light but they aren't the brightest LED lights that I've purchased. The setup was easy enough and the cords are easy to stow away and hide in a cable management box. The sensor isn't sitting outside of the box and I have no problem with using the remote. The white light is more of a blueish tint. The only thing I wish would be better is the adhesion on the 3m tape that comes with it. Two lights in particular keep falling off of my shelf but I plan on getting some command strips to solve the problem. All in all, I would recommend these lights for anyone looking to up their RGB lights game.

Great lights, but the adhesive pads could be better. I had to re-stick one of them already when it came loose from the cabinet. Love the color choices.Pet peeve: Cable management is a bear. Plan the placement prior to buying anything wired like this and you may want to buy some clips for cable management at the same time.Comes with remote control for light-color management with on/off switch.

Sadly giving theses a mid rating. They don’t adhere well to acrylic painted shelves (two of them popped off after a few days) but this can be remedied. The bigger disappointment is the vibrancy of the colours. The colour fades seconds after you select it. The pinks look almost white after a few minutes. The blues are the most vibrant, but even they fad a little

I wanted something to illuminate the top row of my cube storage unit, used for figure displays. These lights worked out great. I mounted the lights with the included screws and used gaffers tape to hide the cables. It took about an hour for everything and that was while watching TV at the same time. Used one of the 3M tape pads for the control box and adhesion is fine so far. Lights are bright, the colors pop, and the remote does what it's supposed to. No complaints here!

Under cabinet lighting for a bar in home. Loved the ease of setting up. Remote control is easy as well. I do wish there was extra adaptors to make some of the lines shorter. I had to bind a few feet up and took some trickery to hide them. I wish they were a tad brighter but that’s only because I put Daylight LEDs in the same room but at night they make a heck of a display. I’d buy again.
