Was super skeptical this would be sturdy, however, I am pleasantly surprised. Was super easy to install. Like others have mentioned, the zippers are a little stiff, but I don’t really use them now that the seat is installed. The velcro side is perfect for our dog to hop in and out. The best part? Our fur baby now hops right in and enjoys trips. She used to hate hopping in and would fidget and try to move around the backseat. Now she gets in all by herself and chills in her seat. The bottom panel is super sturdy - she’s 55 lbs and it holds her easily with no bowing. I think this is the secret to her comfort! The space between the seats to floorboard is now no issue!

The hammock is sturdy enough to hold my 75 lb pitbull. She often doesn’t want to sit down on car rides, and even though she slides around in the hammock, her nails haven’t damaged it yet. This fits on the captain chairs in the backseat of my Kia EV9, however, it does hang over the gap between the seats. If you have a larger dog, you will need something that bridges that gap.

My wife and I have bought many dog car seats in the past, and this has been the most impressive one so far. It fits both of our 15-pound dogs comfortably. It only occupies one seat, so it still leaves two seats in the back for passengers. The ability to take down the side makes it easy to bring our dogs around. The item is tall also, so it protects the interior door from dog scratches.I decided to only give it 4 stars because I think there is room for improvement. The zippers are a bit cumbersome to deal with. It gets stuck often when we have to bring down the side panels to let the dogs out. I applied a zipper pull to it, which helps a little. The other issue is the bag it came with. It's too small once you've attached the PVC rods to the side panels. I do understand that to store it, I would have to remove the rod, but that too is a cumbersome process.

This was the perfect solution for our Golden Retriever puppy. We have bucket seats in the rear of our car and this solves that problem. It keeps our dog secure and she loves it and usually falls asleep within a couple of miles. The crate is large enough to allow for her to grow over time and still leaves plenty of room for the another passenger in the rear seat. It has been a great product and we are ordering a second one to have as a backup.

I use this at least weekly and it lives in my car. My 50# collie loves it. No issues with the zippers and I use them every time. I would recommend highly. The small loop on the dog restraint strap is meant to go over the headrest, some reviews seemed unsure about it.

Fits well in 2021 Ram 1500. I can install or remove it in less than 2 minutes. If I need my back seat clear. Perfect size for a beagle, she now seems more stable when I’m driving around and she stays off the doors, windows, leather. It seems to be well made and I expect it to last a while.

Man this thing was great. I have an older pitbull. It helped him quit sliding around in the car gives him a nice solid place to stand and it’s lasted a long time too. It keeps them contained so you don’t run around in the backseat and tear stuff up definitely a must have if you have a car you want to keep looking nice

I want to love this seat, as it is exactly wanted I needed for my pup, but for the money the zippers are extremely cheap and don't work from day one! I can't open one side at all, and it's very difficult for my dog to get in and out on her own, since the side only opens half way, not leaving lot of space for the dog to get in between door and small opening. And the whole issue defeats the whole comfort of the seat.There's zero way to contact the seller to resolve this. Except return it and wait another 2 weeks for amazon to ship a new one, since their Amazon drivers constantly messing up our orders in our location and we get lame excuse how they couldn't find it (we are the only house on a private road..).
