I bought it to find a steel bar that is 50mm Dia and 800 long that I had lost in grass and it could not find itWould not even recomend as a kids toy as even ater calibrating it would not pick up coins if they were covered wellawaste of moneywould not recomend to any one

It looks okay but feels flimsy. Made from plastic and looks like plastic!A gift for my grandson.

Metal detector was far too small, unhappy son on his birthday.
