My cat lost her collar wirh the tracker on it and we have not been able to locate it using this tracker. How can i go about getting a replacement unit

i just received this the other day. and tested it twice and the tag does not bleep already which would make it impossible to find the tag? help

If your question is what i'm thinking your asking I will try to answer it?If so I had the same problem initially, the manual with the Pro tracker does not explain it well at all.To make the tags beep when your close please try the following... Turn on the remote, press the button e.g 1,2,3 or 4. (For this example we will use button 1 on the remote and tag1.).. Once you get near your tag1/pet the LED,s will climb higher on your remote with the beeps getting faster,  press and HOLD down that button on your remote.The beeps will stop on your remote control and the beeps will start on your tag ONLY allowing you to easily find your tag / pet.( in my opinion this Pro tracker is better than the previous pet locator I owned as the beeps would on both the remote and tags at the same time making it more difficult to find the tag).On this Pro tracker the beeping stops on your remote and starts beeping on the Tag ONLY once your close to the tag/pet, (but don't forget to press & HOLD the button down when your close to your tag).Hope it's clear and that answers your question ?

What does it mean line of site? If my cat was in someone's garden would it say he is near or u less there is nothing between us?

Hi, it means that the 500m search range will be achieved if there is no big building (or similar) between the basis and the tag.  If there are some houses between the range can be a bit smaller.
