Beautiful giraffe
This giraffe painting size is 16 x 20 and is fun to do. It took me around 10 hours to complete. I didn't run out of any of the rainbow colors and had plenty left over. The paint is a good quality and is easy enough for a 10+ year old to do. The only thing I wish could be changed was the background color which would benefit from a nice pastel color. The face is a bit complicated to do though so you must use the fine brush included not the flat brush.

Fun Project
This is a really fun project and wasn't too difficult. It was my first paint by number experience, and I think it was a good choice for my first one. The only thing that is kind of disappointing is that you can see some of the numbers through the paint because the paint isn't always opaque enough. But if you stand back it really looks amazing. I bought this and didn't paint it for six months and one of the paints was starting to dry out, but I think that was my fault for not using it right away. Something to keep in mind if you are thinking of buying this.

Fun hobby/activity
Pretty easy painting, did it in 2.5 days. Got it to paint and give as a present and I'm happy with it. The canvas isn't the greatest, there were a couple of thin patches on it. I couldn't get the creases to come out. Most of the paint is pretty good, guessing water based oils, but #12 which is the fuscia/magenta color is really thin. Even though it's a dark color I needed like 4 coats of paint to make it opaque and even then it was still really streaky and see through in areas. Yellow, peach, and red orange are ok. The rest were good. They give you two pots of black(#4) but I think they should prove 2 pots of urple(#3) as well since you use that color most. The paint dries very quickly which is both good and bad. Good because you're less like to smudge and smear as you paint and don't have to wait long to make corrections. Bad because the pots of paint can clump up fast if you leave it open long but it's easy enough to dilute with a very tiny bit of water and, if you add a little too much water, you can just leave it open until it dries to your desired consistency. The drying factor also helps to get thicker coats of paint with the more transparent colors.I stretched the canvas myself and got 16X20" bars but the painting is actually smaller than that so I just extended the paint areas outwards and then painted the sides black with the extra black paint and I think it turned out ok. I painted it before I stretched the canvas and had no issues with the paint cracking. I found it easier to paint unmounted since I was using a table rather than an easel so I had better control since I could leverage my arm.Edit: just read in the details that it's actually acrylic paint so the title/name of the product is misleading since it says it's an oil painting.

No mixing colors needed, perfect gift and brushes work great!
I loved this! Still working on it but the tips that came on the box are awesome! I’m going to purchase from this manufacturer again. Honestly it’s a great quarantine hobby. No mixing needed for colors, which I really like. And the brushes they give you are a great quality, I thought I may have to use my own brushes (I like to acrylic paint) but nope theirs worked perfectly! Love it!

Love the Pic...but a few negatives
POSITIVES: I love this picture. I'm new to painting by number; and this pic does not have too many small, narrow painting spots. It's an excellent place to start.NEGATIVES: I DID NOT receive an additional paper tracing, which was disappointing; you usually get them with paint by number kits. I'm not sure why it was not included. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, it was not rolled, so there are A LOT of lumpy humps in the canvas. You need to iron it, and STILL it's lumpy. Big UGH.

Finding my calm in the storm
I bought this to take time for myself, of social media and the tv when there was a rainy day.I thought I would paint an hour here or there...but I painted for 8 hours straight 😂So many thoughts came by, so much peace and relaxation. I think I found a new passion and my giraffe came out beautiful enough to frame!
