It's nothing you expect
When I ordered this watermelon cutter my wife was very skeptical. Skeptical to the point that she laughed at me for falling for another TV shop worthless product. But I was adamant. I saw the ads, I knew that cutting a watermelon would soon be a breeze and my wife will be embarrassed and will beg for forgiveness. When the the package arrived I confidently unpacked it and said WATCH THIS. I tried hard to do exactly what the guy in the ads did, I even turned it on again. But No matter how hard I tried the watermelon was turning into a mess. "Let me try with the other half,"- I said after one half was utterly ruined. But the watermelon refused to be diced into cubes, it was smashed between the sides of the cutter, with juice fountaining one way and seed flaying out. i was crushed. She was right, For the next few months every purchase I made I was a subject of sarcastic comments. So be prepared. Cutter discretion advises.

Once you get the hang of it works great!
I read the reviews about how the slices were turning to mush so I took a chance and sure enough the first slice started well but then got skinny as I pressed the handles together. So I thought, how do I keep these handles apart? I put my index finger between the two so that the stayed separated and voila! This was only my first attempt so it will get better with practice but it does as advertised. Just don't grip the handles like a knife!

Brings the "watermelon cutting" experience to a new level
The job of cutting fruit was always the most unwanted job in our house, that was until a friend recommended us the slicer, this was a complete game changer!!! Everyone wants to get a turn using the slicer, it just turned slicing to an easy and fun job!!! A whole new experience. Thank you for the great product
