I was initially skeptical based on the price, but this thing delivers. It doesn't mess around with weird spring arms to hold your towels down - instead it incorporates a ratcheting mechanism (which the product description calls a "damper"). See the video I attached. It works VERY well. You can tear the towels off with one hand easily - I tested this both with blue shop towels and standard Bounty rolls. Installation is very easy, and there's plenty of clearance for a standard size large roll. Swapping rolls is as easy as sliding the tube off and a new roll onto the barrel springs - it is held quite securely. Best of all, with this ratcheting mechanism, there's no way a cat will unravel all the towels! I'm super satisfied. Already have 2, I'm going to buy 2 more. I have not had them for long in "high utilization" areas, so we'll see how the mechanism holds up after a year or so. The next one will go in the kitchen so time should tell very quickly. ## Frequently Bought Together - Fixwal Paper Towel Holder Under Cabinet, Single Hand Operable Wall Mount Paper Towel Holder with Damping Effect, Bend-Resistant, Self-Adhesive or Drill Mounting for Kitchen Bathroom, Black - JOPOFI Toilet Paper Holder - Self Adhesive Toilet Paper Holder Wall Mount for Bathroom, SUS 304 Stainless Steel Command Strip Toilet Paper Roll Holder Stick On Wall, No Drilling - Matte Black - Kruodop Towel Hooks for Bathroom,2 Packs Wall Mount Towel Holder,Black Matte Wall Robe Hook,Stainless Steel Heavy Duty Door Hanger Towel Hook for Kitchen, Bedroom,Hotel,Pool,Coats(Drilling) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/532861996-fixwal-paper-towel-holder-under-cabinet-single-hand-operable-wall](https://www.desertcart.be/products/532861996-fixwal-paper-towel-holder-under-cabinet-single-hand-operable-wall) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
