Arrived on time, seem to be good quality
Package arrived on date promised, nice packaging. We haven’t put them in place yet so I cannot speak to sturdiness, etc. No directions for set-up were included but pretty easy to figure out. They appear to be good value for money.

No instructions but...
There are no instructions, but after a few minutes I figured it out. The springs go on the two plastic studs in the front to help the lid open when you need to check bait. The metal rod is to hold the bait (if you buy mouse/rat bait they come with a hole). It fits in the slots towards the front of the box. The other plastic bracket is to anchor the box to a wall. There are holes, but no screws supplied.

Worked great with “. Ground Squirrel Kaput”
Boxes were solid and cover and keys worked well

NOT pet safe! Low quality, poorly designed item!
This bait station is NOT pet/child safe since any baits placed inside it are not secured by rods or retaining hardware, and could easily be carried out of the bait station by vermin. For the price charged for these bait stations (I paid roughly $68 in April 2023 for a 6-pack) and the claims made in the product listing, these are exceedingly low quality. The plastic used in the production of these bait stations is thinner than average (as compared to Tomcat/Motomco brand stations) and it is doubtful that it can hold up to any degree of outdoor exposure for an extended period of time. I have Tomcat/Motomco bait stations that have been in steady use for more than 5 years with little to no signs of wear…this set of bait stations doesn’t make the cut for a variety of reasons. I began my return before I even got the item fully unboxed since the trash quality of this item is fully evident as soon as you get it halfway unpacked!

No documentation ... and what's the extra tray for? How does one lock the stupid thing?
Okay, I'm not a pest control specialist, but shouldn't need to be. The structure of the bait station is fine. The primary way to load bait is to 'skewer' four bait chunk pieces on a rod that hangs inside the station. However, each station comes with a loose rectangular tray, about 1"x4" flopping around inside the unit. It has no explicit use, and given no documentation, there is nothing to show how it should be installed or used. Each station comes with its own "key," but I am confounded as to how the key actually locks the top of the station. The instructions say to give it a quarter turn to the right/left to lock/unlock, etc., but there is nothing internally for the key to actually move into a locked position. Alas, my bait station is loaded, in position and held closed under a rock on the lid. DOCUMENTATION!

They work
The bait boxes serve their purpose by holding bait and providing access for critters. However, the latches are poorly designed and barely keep the lids closed. If you're worried about small hands or pets getting into the contents, you might want to consider a different model.consider a different model. Other than that, they are well-built and should last for years. I might have to put a brick on the top to keep the lid closed.

Design Adjustment/Redesign Needed
The rodents were not intimidated by these at all. They got after the bait the first night! BUT the second night, they literally stole the wire that you put the bait onto. I have six stations and they stole the wire from two of them. I thought they would not be able to do that, but the bait holder wire does just sit in place inside the station. There is no clamp or anything to hold them. So, I will have to design a replacement wire and then duct tape it in place or fix some kind of clamp so the critters can't steal it. Bottom line: the manufacture needs to design a clamp or something to actually hold the wire rather than just having it sit in place. I do like the concept of the bait station and I think I can rig it to work. Can't believe I'm the only person this has happened to.
