Trekking Safari Classic Photo Harness
I am recovering from a broken back and broken neck, and needed something so I can carry a Canon 5D with a 24-70 f2.8 lens, which is heavy. I am 6' 2" and 12 stone. I was looking at the much more expensive Cotton Carrier but found it pressed onto my chest and was uncomfortable. It also sat rather high and I found it awkward getting the camera in and out as I have very long arms. The Trekking harness is very comfortable and the position of the camera can be adjusted from groin to ribcage. It seems to sit best when longer. The straps don't always stay where I put them on my shoulders, mainly moving front to back when lifting and lowering the camera, but it remains comfortable whilst in use. It took a little bit of getting used to sliding the camera up the straps, but it is very slick in action and works very well. The quality of the straps that attach to the camera looks a bit crude - the wide strap is folded, stitched and riveted. I guess that leaving it open rather than covering it up with another bit of cloth helps keep the cost down. The quality is OK rather than high in general. The padding in the shoulder straps and back panel is noisy when crinkled - it sounds like it is stuffed with carrier bags! The camera can be detached from the harness using a clip on either side, leaving about 5" of strap attached on either side of the camera. Unfortunately, the clips are a different size to my Optech neck strap, but I have managed to attach the additional straps to the Optech strap, so I can unclip the harness and clip in the Optech strap when I don't want to use the full harness. I'm not sure if Trekking also make a compatible neck strap. I am going to look to see if there is some hand strap as I want a bit of extra security when I unclip the camera from the harness (eg when attaching it to a tripod). The straps each have a pocket on. On one side it is big enough for a CF card, but the other is divided vertically into three. Each bit is just big enough for an AA battery (not sure if I could get three in though), so I have unpicked the stitching and now I can - just - fit an EOS battery into each side. With my longer lens I think I shall add an extra strap to sit under the lens. The harness has plenty of attachment points. I am sure this will remain comfortable.I have yet to try the harness with my binoculars.I would certainly recommend trying this harness - it saved me £100 over the Cotton Carrier and I am very happy with it. I find it comfortable. The quality isn't top notch, but then the price isn't either. Buy one - it is worth the money and more!

Really good harness. Works great with my camera and heavy, large zoom lens. Comfortable. Easily adjustable but as I am quite small I do find that I have a lot of excess strap which needs to be dealt with, but good if you have a bigger build.

camera harness
I thought this would be an excellent way to support my camera rather than the usual neck-breaking camera strap. However there are several weaknesses. The material itself is rather cheap and prickly when worn over a light T.shirt. I cannot comfortably allow the camera to hang without being supported by my hands. If I raise it higher it becomes uncomfortable around the chest. I cannot leave it permanently connected to my camera as it is too bulky to pack away in my camera bag for transport and I feel uneasy holding my camera without a strap in between connection/disconnection outdoors or when carrying my camera around the house. I realise my laziness in not reconnecting the original camera strap when not on a photographic shoot may be a costly mistake, so I am now debating whether to put the original strap back on permanently as it is simple and secure. The idea is good but it isn't anywhere near the quality of manufacture that I have come to expect from Lowepro, for example.

Comfortable carry system
This has answered a need I've had for some time - how to carry binoculars and camera (for birding) and be able to pick either up quickly when something interesting hoves into view. The harness is well made and with the binoculars at chest height and camera on the lower buckles works well. Even a heavy set up (Canon 7D and 400 5.6L in my case) is convenient to carry, and much more comfortable than the conventional shoulder strap. This is now my "go-to" set up when I need both camera and bins. You can also purchase an additional fixing so you could carry bins and two cameras - but I've not tried this.It might be worth noting that I first purchased the Op-Tech elasticated Bino-Cam harness. I returned it after the first outing - uncomfortable and not friendly to the female form. Amazon of course promptly refunded the item. I shall not be returning THIS harness, however! It was twice the price of the Op-Tech (which I gave a 1 star review for) and worth every penny.

Close but no cigar ..
Took this product on Safari where a 7D with 400 telephoto and a pair of binoculars are constant companions. Sadly there seems to be to way of adjusting to fit, the harness just hangs and sags over your shoulders. I threw it in the rucksack and never used it again .. will look for a more expensive solution with adjustments in the future (you probably need to take off any existing strap from the camera body and the loops are thick and almost impossible to fit)

Looked like it would be a fantastic product and is well made. Unfortunately the width and thickness of the loops for attachment was too much for the the metal loops on two of our Canon Cameras. We could attach using the binocular section but might as well buying a cheaper harness if can't use most of it. Very disappointed.
