Review: Brilliant Idea - Very Impressed - Last November I purchased a Westinghouse 9500 gas generator and just last month had the opportunity to use it after a storm in my area. I realized that I needed some type of cover for it while it was running; throwing a tarp over it wasn't really that easy because I had to make sure the exhaust had somewhere to go. After researching several different "generator tent/generator shed" options I found this and knew it would fit my generator. Received the item quickly, it is missing 2 parts so I am going to reach out to customer service and am certain they will send me the screw and bolt; I was able to use similar parts I already. The directions were crystal clear, very self explanatory and very easy for me to put it together. It looks like this will work perfectly when I need the generator again, I love how they thought of everything. There is an apron to cover the electrical panel to protect it from any rain and on the other side is the area to open the velcro for putting gas in it so you don't have to remove the tent. I am very impressed. Really happy with this purchase.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can you store in garage with this cover on?**
A: Yes you can store it in the garage. Do not use a generator in a garage.  Use generator in an open well ventilated area.

**Q: does this reduce noise?**
A: Truthfully not much but I wouldn't let that stop you from purchasing it. It does muffle some of the sound that would normally radiate from the top and sides but the problem is that most of the sound comes from the exhaust. Obviously the tent is open by the exhaust. I haven't had my Westinghouse generator long but I can tell you mine isn't very loud compared to other generators I checked out. We had storms a month ago that knocked out our neighborhood power. Some of my neighbors generators were so loud I could hardly sleep but this Westinghouse is maybe twice as loud as an outdoor air conditioning unit. The tent itself is very well made and would keep the generator dry even during heavy snow or driving rain. Even better it is really easy to put together. Hope this helps

the cover is of good quality but the plastics that hold the the rods i can't stand the pressure of the rods that i don't know what material it is but in one the ends broke , think they should make them of flexible metal so that they don't break and the supports below make them of a durable material , suggestions buy the rods in home depot of copper and it will last as long as you have it and the the holders below look for potions on amazon to see if there are metal ,i think the design is good because it protects wells and can be recharged with gas without removing the cover
