This very structured wine draws it's fruit from 50 year old low yielding vines. The grape variety is 100% Gamay Noir. Romain Jambon's vines grow on clay studded with the the blue volcanic rocks from Mount Brouilly. This is a deep red wine with perfumes of raspberries and vanilla. On the palate it carries through with cassis, juicy red fruits and a touch of oak. It has fine tannins, refreshing acidity and a long finish. Pair it with red meats, game and cheese.
