I love that it's affordable and still works as a top competitor for a brace. Spending low price for high quality is always a plus. I love the fact there are 4 velcro straps instead of 2. Makes for securing the brace more effective. I love the open back concept. The hinges makes it so there is some movement still. So walking is not complete stiff knee. It definitely gave me the stability I needed.

This hinged knee brace is a perfect fit for my chubby leg. It is adjustable and easy to put on, it stays put and doesn't roll down. For the most part it is comfortable and it's quality is like a brace that was custom made. I paid less for this brace then the deductible on a orthopedic brace.

This knee brace works really well! It provides great support and feels comfortable to wear for long periods. The adjustable straps help get a secure fit, and it stays in place without slipping. Good quality for the price.

My wife cracked her tibia in two places. The orthopedic surgeon insisted she wear a knee brace and keep her leg "load free" for 6 weeks. We left his office with confining knee brace that cost $83. Once home I searched Amazon and found this brace. It is less than 1/4 the cost of doctor's brace. The Amazon brace is much easier to install and has much better straps and velcro. Also the doctor's brace has metal rods on the inside to help immobilize the knee. These metal rods rub against your leg and are painful. The Amazon brace has metal rods on the outside and no rubbing or pain. The metal rods are also removable if needed. Bottom line, my wife says the Amazon brace is far more comfortable and a fraction of the cost.

It’s a decent brace. But does not really provide support where I need it to. I do appreciate the Velcro straps for easy adjustment but wouldn’t recommend this as something to wear/use in the gym. It’s fine for home and maybe walking or low impact things.

This is a great item for the price! My knew was very sore from hyperextension while sleeping on my back on a very weak mattress where my hips sank in deep to the mattress and caused my relaxed knee to hyperextend while I slept and thus irritated the tendons around the front of my knee.... (a real thing)...I could hardly walk when the brace arrived and instantly I could put weight on it and it made walking tolerable and I think because it kept my knee stabilized as I slept for a few days that it allowed my knee to heal. The support straps a very good and low for a wide range of support. A definite recommend. Do not get frustrated with the straps as there are three extra straps after you put the brac on that add support. Once you get it on it is very comfortable and helps to stabilize the joping very well and the hinges move easily and keep the side to side motion to a minimum.

I am 5'2 and have heavy thighs. This brace managed to fit around my thighs and my calf to brace my knee. It tended to slide if I didn't tightened the lower portion enough. The compression is good and easy to use, and it is a good quality brace. Due to my weight and thigh size I had some leg irritation on my inner thigh due to the metal portion of the brace. Although it was covered it still dug in. No fault of the brace, just my body. I would still recommend this for purchase. It helped my knee tremendously.

After reading the reviews, it seemed to be a 50/50 shot on this being effective, and with Amazon’s commitment to customer satisfaction, it really was a worry free purchase. I suffer from several issues in my knee and work as a courier. I have an $800 brace I was issued for after my latest surgery and although effective, it is the most uncomfortable thing to wear whether direct on skin, or over top my pant. I have a cheap compression brace I tried, and it provided some relief but very little support. I saw this one which seems to combine the best of both of my previous braces. I also saw it was $10 cheaper than my compression brace. I tried it out this week, and it out performed any of my expectations. No pain and the device was comfortable to wear all throughout a 12 hour shift. I have it direct on my leg. Some discomfort if the Velcro isn’t on properly, but easy to relieve. Some have mentioned this is bulky, but it fits discreetly under my pant. It is true to size, so measure carefully. The materials are comfortable, breathable, and are excellent quality. My favourite feature is the easily removable hinges and padded but open patella. I truly am amazed at the value! I can see where some might find some issues with it, but it is worth trying if you suffer from knee pain / injury / condition. I suffer from a reconstructive surgery due to a bullet wound and later on a hyperextension injury that required debridement. I personally highly recommend this product! I will be buying this one from now on!

Good one for heavy knee pain
